Bustard Hut is a converted shepherd's hut near Cholderton, just outside Salisbury in Hampshire. Originally a hay-trailer on the farm, it has been converted into a secluded family cabin sitting at the bottom of a meadow surrounded by woodland. It sleeps four and comes with a private wood-fired hot tub.

The estate itself is steeped in history. Walk the grounds and you'll pass 5,000-year-old earthworks and burial mounds. In 2021 a hoard of bronze-age axe-heads was found in one of the fields. Stonehenge is just around the corner. Birdwatching, world-class hiking and visits to Avebury are all on the doorstep.

Inside is an open-plan layout with a living area (no TV) dining space and kitchen.

Bustard Hut is a converted shepherd's hut near Cholderton, just outside Salisbury in Hampshire. It sleeps four and comes with a private wood-fired hot tub.

Inside is an open-plan layout with a living area (no TV) dining space and kitchen. There are two sleeping areas: a kingsize (5ft) bed with panoramic field views and bunk beds (3ft). One shower room with cubicle and toilet serves the whole cabin. Electric heating, bed linen and towels are all included.

Stonehenge (10 mins), Avebury Stone Circle (30 mins), New Forest National Park (45 mins) and Winchester Cathedral (35 mins) are the standout days out nearby.
