A lovely holiday home, tastefully decorated and maintained to a high standard. A well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area, perfect for our family get together. There was plenty of parking for all our cars. We were able to walk into the centre of Frome which is an attractive town with lots of independent shops and some pleasant walks, with a wide prospect of the nearby countryside. The only downside was the fact that there were only two bathrooms, one being part of the ensuite bedroom. With 12 people staying this felt insufficient.

We all thought it was a lovely space for a large group. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly want. Great location for getting into Frome or further afield.

Vallis Oak Villa is a beautiful property, the pictures do not do it justice. We had a comfortable stay and the kitchen was a real treat having everything we could need. The hob was a bit confusing, even with the instructions and took 6 of us to get it working. The property is beautifully decorated and it was nice to have some games to play in the evening along with the log burner. For us the only negative was that the hottub was not up the temperature on arrival and we were not able to use it on our first night as 23 was a little chilly still. Marcus was responsive to our queries though which was a nice touch.

Fantastic property every need was met. The area is lovely & quiet even with the park next door. The garden is massive, we loved exploring it. The beds are nice & comfortable so had a brilliant night's sleep. The induction hob was a bit tricky to use, but we got there in the end. A very well equipped kitchen.

Went there as a large family of 10 plus 4 young children for my Moms 80th birthday surprise and it was fab. Would definately recommend and we are already thinking about when we can go back. I can honestly say that all 12 of us absolutely loved staying at the property. It was wellmaintained and all the facilities spot on. With a few hidden extras! Had no idea that the grounds were so big. And the bookcase door to the seller room is a genius idea. The kitchen had every utensil that we needed and more. Could not fault the cleanliness at all it was spotless, apart from unfortunately the cooker which really could do with a good clean. Which I totally understand can't be done every time. If there was a metal scratchy scrubber I could of at least cleaned the grates and trays better. But honestly that is the only downside of the whole experience. Which is miner. We loved the big communal living area and I think that's what made our weekend so great as we were always all together. I am really hoping that we can stay there again In the future.

The property was as advertised and pictured. Well appointed, comfortable quiet location and very peaceful. Cool modcons made it super easy to do meals and negotiate the surroundings. The Sonos speakers made it very enjoyable to sit and listen to great music and was a real bonus given the ongoing Glastonbury festival during our visit. We had an issue with a door bolt that locked us out of 1 of the rooms for a night but there were other rooms and it worked out OK with a repair organised and carried out on schedule. The owner was very attentive and understanding to our needs regarding the whole matter!!

This was a beautiful property, we had a fab weekend here as a group

A fabulous property beautifully presented. Very highly recommended. Children loved the cellar and made it their own. They did not want to leave and described it as 'best holiday ever' Likewise the 'well' feature is a clever and attractive concept. The only very minor problem was not taking a 2 to 3 pin plug converter as the en suite does not have a shaver socket so I could not charge my razor or electric toothbrush. OK for a short stay but not anything longer. Hope to return for another stay in the future.

A group of us had a weekend away in Frome and were blown away by the place. It is a lovely space to hang out and cook with a well equipped kitchen and living room. I would also like to mention that the host Marcus was brilliant. Really responsive, helpful and friendly. Thank you for everything!

This was the perfect space for a weekend gathering of 12. The main room is such a sociable, wellequipped space. The house is stylishly decorated and every room is a great size with comfy beds. The only drawback is that one of the two bathrooms is an ensuite, meaning people walk through this bedroom to use it or ten people share a bathroom. Not too much of an issue for a weekend though.

The villa was well looked after, clean and with several benefits. However there was a lack of toilet facilities. On the ground floor there were two double bedrooms. One of these was occupied by an 87 year old lady who was unable to climb the stairs. There was only a toilet on the ground floor. Nowhere to wash oneself properly, or shower. This was situated within the boot room. Turning this into a shower room could have provided facilities for both downstairs double rooms. This sadly let the whole villa down.

Gorgeous house especially for a special occasion. Really wellequipped and homely. Very spacious kitchen and living area so perfect for a big family or group of friends. Great location for visiting Frome and surrounding area. Lovely big garden too and tons of parking. Only downside really is only 2 bathrooms and only a toilet on ground floor level.

Vallis Oak Villa was a wonderful setting for a long awaited threegeneration family gathering. The house is spacious and very comfortable and every need was catered for. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and huge garden and the children loved the swing, trampoline and football goal and everyone loved the hot tub. We would thoroughly recommend Vallis Oak Villa.

Beautiful house in a lovely location. We had a petty of 10 stay here and everyone enjoyed it. The bed were very comfortable and the house was spacious, easily accommodating us all. The fire pit was a bonus and many pleasant evenings were spent sitting round it.

Easy booking from start to finish. Communication from host excellent. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds were. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the necessary utensils. We had a fabulous weekend. Perfect base for visiting both Bath and Bristol. Wouldnt hesitate to use again.

The property was amazing and very clean. The only thing was there was no hand soap in the upstairs bathroom. Other than that everything was amazing and everything was very kitted out.

Our party of eight had a fantastic weekend stay and we highly recommend the property. Its very easy to find, with a pretty drive and tons of parking space. The house is lovely, very private yet only a short walk into Frome, and superbly equipped. The main open plan living area is fantastic, comfortable sofas, cosy underfloor heating, a huge dining table and a great kitchen. All of the bedrooms are large, comfortable and have high quality bedding. We made use of several of the restaurants close by, the Royal Bengal Indian just 2 minutes away, Bistro Lotte for lunch on a busy Saturday and the Old Bath Arms for Sunday roasts, all were very good. Any areas for improvement, just a couple of things, there is only a family bathroom plus an onsuite in the main bedroom there is a downstairs cloakroom also so for a 6 bedroom house it could do with an extra bath or shower roomand the temperature varied across the house, upstairs bedrooms hot, downstairs bedrooms cold. But these are small things and overall we were incredibly happy with the house, its brilliant.
